On the first day of the business week, the dollar has become cheaper in the interbank and open market.In the interbank the price of the dollar has decreased by 2 rupees and 20 paisas.
According to forex dealers, the dollar is being traded at 300 rupees and 75 paisas in the interbank market. It’s worth noting that on Friday, the interbank market had closed at 302 rupees and 95 paisas.
In the open market, after a decrease of 3 rupees and 50 paisas, the dollar now stands at 300 rupees and 50 paisas.
It’s evident that over the course of one week, the open market has seen a substantial decrease of 24 rupees in the dollar’s value.
A positive trend is also being seen in the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the 100 index increased by 76 points to 46 thousand 89 points.
