Peshawar: Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Siraj ul Haq, has stated that our struggle against inflation will continue. He said that we will also go to Sindh and Balochistan for sit-in.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Siraj ul Haq, while addressing the participants of the sit-in outside the Governor House in Peshawar, said that political and economic terrorists have changed disguises and governments, and the corrupt system has let down the most youth. But the day of accountability for those who have looted the country is coming.
He said that electricity consumers are willing to pay the actual cost, but there is no justification for a 48% tax in bills. The increase in electricity, petrol, and diesel prices should be rolled back.
Siraj ul Haq stated that the peaceful struggle of Jamaat-e-Islami will continue for the rights of the public, and they will stage a sit-in outside the Lahore Governor House for 3 days now. People of Lahore and Punjab should participate in the sit-in.
Addressing the rulers, he said, “Wake up before the wheel of protest and sit-ins, and when Punjab awakens, Pakistan will awaken.” After the sit-in in Punjab, we will go to Sindh and Balochistan.
