Sialkot: Former Defense Minister Khawaja Asif says that relations with Iran should not deteriorate further, therefore, efforts should be made to avoid tension.
Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan had played an active role in resolving the Saudi Arabia-Iran conflict. We had very good relations with Iran during our time. We should try to avoid tension so that the relations with Iran do not deteriorate further.
He said that Pakistan and Iran should make a joint strategy to deal with terrorism, Baloch separatist movements are going on in Pakistan and Iran. Pakistan and Iran need to jointly deal with these movements.
It should be noted that Pakistan has responded to Iran through Operation Deadly, Sarmchar in response to the attack on Balochistan.
