The Lahore High Court has given time to the lawyer of Monis Elahi’s wife Tahrim Elahi to submit a reply. Director FIA said that a case of money laundering of Rs 3 crore 34 lakh has been registered against the accused.
Justice Shahram Sarwar of Lahore High Court heard the petition against stopping Monis Elahi’s wife Tahrim Elahi from going out of the country.
Director FIA Lahore while submitting the report told the court that a case of money laundering has been registered against Tahirim Elahi in which she is the named accused. The court asked the Director of FIA Lahore about the previous case, to which he replied that the previous case was filed against the accused, named Monis Elahi.
The court inquired where he is now, to which the Director FIA said that he had left the country on 28th.
The Lahore High Court stated that the individual should not vent their anger on their spouse.
The court directed the FIA to give a copy of the case and the submitted report to the lawyer of the accused.
Amjad Parvez advocate sought time to submit the reply, on which the court adjourned the hearing of the case till February 3.
