The 5-member special JIT set up to investigate the murder case of senior anchor person and journalist Arshad Sharif returned to Pakistan after collecting evidence from Dubai and Kenya.
The JIT arrived in Dubai on January 12, where they left for Kenya after a week of enquiry.
The JIT members in Dubai obtained information about the meetings and contacts of Arshad Sharif during his last days.
The JIT will prepare report and submit it to the Supreme Court this week.
DIG Headquarters Awais Ahmed is heading the 5-member Special JIT, which includes Deputy DG Sajid Kayani from IB and a Grade 20 officer from ISI.
Apart from this, Director Cybercrime Waqaruddin Syed from FIA, Mohammad Afzal from MI are involved.
