Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called an all-party conference on February 7 on important national issues and invited the leadership of all national political parties, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office, it was said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken a big decision to bring all the national political leaders to a table on important national challenges, which is a major political development in the country’s political scenario.
Ayaz Sadiq conveyed the Prime Minister’s message to Asad Qaiser and Peroz Khattak that I invite two representatives of PTI to participate in the Apex Committee against Terrorism.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq requested the PTI leaders to inform the names of the nominated representatives of his party. The Apex Committee meeting will be held at the Governor House in Peshawar, all stakeholders, police, rangers and senior officers of sensitive institutions will participate.
The meeting will consider the terrorist incident that took place in the mosque of Peshawar Police Lines on January 30.
According to the statement, the meeting of the Apex Committee will also consider measures to end terrorism, CTD and police upgradation.
It should be noted that 101 people were martyred and more than 150 were injured in the terrorist incident in the Police Lines mosque in Peshawar.
