The prices of 15 commodities, including LPG, ghee, and edible oil, have increased this week, the statistics agency has released a report.
After two weeks of continuous increase in the inflation rate in the country, there has been a slight decrease of 0.08 percent in the recent week, while the annual inflation rate has reached 12.75 percent.
According to the data released by the Federal Bureau of Statistics on inflation last week, the prices of 15 items increased while the prices of 8 items decreased and the prices of 28 items remained stable.
In the report of the Institute of Statistics, it was further stated that in the recent week, the price of onion per kg has increased by Rs. 7, a 20 kg bag of flour has become expensive by Rs. Prices of jaggery, firewood, potato, ghee, and edible oil have also increased.
Similarly, in the data of the Institute of Statistics, it was stated that the price of tomatoes decreased by 29 rupees per kg, sugar was cheaper by 2 rupees per kg, live chicken by 4 rupees per kg, and eggs by 81 paise per dozen, while banana, lentils became cheaper. Mash, dal mong, and dal masoor are also among the cheaper items.
