Peshawar: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has stated that they are waiting for Imran Khan’s directive to initiate the civil disobedience movement, which will begin as soon as he gives the signal.
According to details, the Peshawar High Court has ordered that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should not be arrested in any case. A two-member bench, comprising Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Waqar Ahmad, heard Gandapur’s petition regarding details of cases against him. The Chief Minister appeared before the Peshawar High Court during the hearing, where the Deputy Attorney submitted a report revealing that 32 cases have been registered against him in Islamabad and 33 in Punjab.
After the hearing, the court granted Ali Amin Gandapur a transit and protective bail and directed that he should not be arrested in any case until January 16. Additionally, the court ordered the Chief Minister to appear before the relevant courts.
Following his appearance in the Peshawar High Court, Gandapur briefly spoke to the media, claiming that he was denied permission to meet Imran Khan the previous day. “I was told I am not allowed to meet him, that I don’t have clearance. I represent the entire province; I don’t need anyone’s clearance. Those using cheap tactics—do they have clearance? We are waiting for Imran Khan’s order for civil disobedience. As soon as he gives the directive, the movement will begin, and his instructions will be followed,” he said.
