Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has become the fastest player to score 6,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
During the final match of the Tri-Nation Series at National Stadium Karachi, Babar Azam reached this milestone after completing 10 runs, making him the fastest Pakistani to achieve 6,000 runs in ODI cricket.
Before this match, Babar had accumulated 5,990 runs in 125 ODIs at an impressive average of 55.98.
With this achievement, Babar has also equaled the record set by former South African legend Hashim Amla for the fastest 6,000 ODI runs.
At 30 years old, Babar Azam has now become the 11th Pakistani cricketer to reach this milestone. The list is topped by former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, who scored 11,701 runs, followed by Mohammad Yousuf (9,554) and Saeed Anwar (8,824).
