Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has left for a private visit to Dubai, where he will stay for 12 days.
According to details, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari departed for Dubai on a private trip. Sources revealed that he left Karachi Airport via a private jet.
Sources further stated that the PPP Chairman will stay abroad for 12 days and will return to the country on April 17. His foreign visit is part of a scheduled plan.
It is worth mentioning that on April 4, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had demanded that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif withdraw the controversial canal project on the Indus River.
During a public gathering on Friday in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, marking the 46th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, he stated that if the public opposes these canals, his party will stand with the people, not the government.
The PPP leader said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, this is not just our demand but the demand of the people. If we are to remain united as brothers, this project must be withdrawn.
The PPP Chairman had warned that the party would not allow any “irresponsible decisions” regarding water distribution and would resist any attempts to divide the country through controversial projects.
