Former Pakistan women’s team captain Nida Dar has expressed displeasure with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and announced a break from cricket.
According to a private TV channel, Nida Dar has refused to participate in domestic T20 matches and has decided to step away from cricket.
On social media, Nida wrote that her professional life and mental health have been affected in recent times.
She stated, “I am taking a break from cricket to focus on myself. Please respect my privacy.”

Nida further mentioned that the recent period has taken a toll on both her professional life and mental well-being.
Sources say the former captain is unhappy with the attitude of the PCB Women’s Department.
It is noteworthy that Nida Dar was called for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier camp. A fitness test was conducted, and she was not selected for the team based on fitness grounds.
She was not part of the camp held in Faisalabad and was later asked to play in the National T20 Cup. However, she declined to participate in the domestic tournament and announced a break from cricket.
