Pakistan’s national Test team has climbed to second place in the World Test Championship 2025–27 points table after a commanding win over defending champions South Africa in their opening match. The Green Caps secured 12 valuable points with a 100% win percentage.
Australia currently leads the table, having won all three of their Test matches and collecting 36 points, also with a perfect win record. Sri Lanka stands third with 16 points and a 66.67% win percentage, earned through one victory and one draw in their two matches.
India has played the most matches in the new cycle, seven in total, winning four, losing two, and drawing one. Despite having the highest total points at 52, India’s win percentage of 61.90 places them in fourth position.
England won two of their five matches, lost two, and drew one. After being penalized two points for a slow over rate, they now have 26 points and a win percentage of 43.33.
Bangladesh sits at sixth with a 16.67% win rate, while South Africa is seventh. West Indies has lost all five of its matches and remains in eighth position. New Zealand is yet to begin its campaign in this championship cycle.
