The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a weather alert for several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, warning of rain beginning today.
According to the PDMA’s advisory, intermittent rainfall and snowfall in upper regions are expected across different areas of the province until November 5. District administrations and relevant departments have been instructed to remain on alert and take precautionary measures to deal with any potential emergencies.
The authority also cautioned the public about the risk of landslides in mountainous regions, which may lead to road blockages and travel disruptions. Citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and stay updated with weather reports.
