Iran has officially confirmed the death of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Commander Ali Reza Tangsiri, drawing international attention to the incident.
According to a foreign news agency, the IRGC stated that Ali Reza Tangsiri had been critically injured and later succumbed to his wounds.
Reports indicate that Israel’s defense minister had claimed that senior military officials were targeted in an operation on March 26, after which details of the incident began to emerge.
