Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that the Supreme Court is saving democracy, and if the apex court were to be dissolved, democracy would be destroyed.
In a video address to party workers, Imran Khan said that for the past year, the country has been playing a game, and these people are only destroying the system to save their theft. They are afraid that their cases will be opened. He said that these people weakened institutions one by one, and they brought their own chairman to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), who also folded his hands. NAB’s job has been to suppress the opposition, and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started actions against us by closing their cases.
PTI Chairman said that the caretaker’s objective was to hold transparent elections, but they did not even catch one worker of PML-N, but they arrested three thousand of our workers. All of this is to save the corruption of the thieves.
Imran Khan said that our democracy is hanging by a thread, the attack on my house was a conspiracy to commit the murder of Murtaza Bhutto type. There were unknown people in the clothes of lawyers in the Judicial Complex who attacked Shabli Faraz and broke Amir Sultan’s nose.
On the call of protest, they stated that the plan of these people is to put us in jail and hold elections. Shahid Hussain left his job in London to conduct investigations on spy equipment, but he was abducted. Those who catch him are offered money. They think we will sit silently in hiding. Therefore, I am calling on the entire nation and party to prepare for peaceful protests after Eid.
