Islamabad: The National Assembly held a closed-door session on national health, with a briefing from the military leadership. The military leadership presented the facts about the country’s overall domestic and foreign security to parliament. The establishment of sustainable peace in the country has been made possible by the invaluable sacrifices of the military and security agencies for national health and security.
Upon the arrival of the Chief of Army Staff, parliamentarians welcomed him with applause, while the Prime Minister paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistani armed forces.
Army Chief General Asim Munir Bajwa said that the center of gravity is the people of Pakistan. He congratulated the members on the completion of 50 years of the implementation of the 1973 Constitution and said that the center of gravity is the people of Pakistan.
