After an eight-month suspension, the domestic train service from Quetta to the rest of the country will resume today.Passengers delighted as train service resumes.
Due to last year’s heavy monsoon rains and flooding in Balochistan, a bridge that was critical for train travel collapsed, causing the train service to come to a halt.
However, after eight months, the Pakistan Railways Administration has completed the reconstruction of the bridge, and the train service will resume today.
Passengers are pleased with the resumption of train service, and the Eid train will depart from Quetta on April 18. Prior to this, passengers had to travel by bus to catch the train.
