Islamabad: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that Balochistan and Pakistan share a common present and future that will always remain inseparable, stressing that the province’s destiny rests with its people and that hostile designs will be defeated through the state’s firm and decisive response.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir met prominent personalities and political leaders from Balochistan and discussed issues related to the province’s development, peace, stability and the role of its youth.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said the present and future of Balochistan and Pakistan were interconnected and would always remain so.
He said Balochistan was blessed with talented, resilient, patriotic and dignified people, adding that there was no shortage of talent or opportunities among the province’s youth.
The Chief of Defence Forces said Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan were foreign sponsored proxies being used to destabilise Balochistan.
He said these elements were aimed at obstructing the province’s development and creating a divide between the state and its people.
Field Marshal Asim Munir described young people as the most dynamic and promising segment of society and said hostile designs would be defeated through the state’s unwavering, determined and decisive response.
He also called for a comprehensive and unhesitating response to hostile propaganda, stressing the need to expose false narratives.
The Chief of Defence Forces said Balochistan’s true potential, development prospects and the aspirations of its people should be highlighted.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said Balochistan’s destiny rests solely in the hands of its people, adding that peace and stability could help unlock significant investment opportunities across the province.
