After being released, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, arrived late at night at Lahore’s Zaman Park from Islamabad High Court.
Imran Khan arrived at his residence in Zaman Park late at night in the form of a caravan, where his sister Hameeda Khan and party workers welcomed him with enthusiasm.
The Chairman of PTI was taken from Islamabad in the IG’s car to Toll Plaza and stayed for a while in the Chakri Restroom. From there, Imran Khan, along with his security team, departed for Lahore in a bulletproof car.
A large number of party workers gave their leader a grand welcome at Thokar Niaz Beg at night, where they danced, lit fireworks, and scattered flower petals.
Imran Khan left Islamabad High Court for Lahore after a delay of five hours. In his video message, Imran Khan said that the Islamabad IG made every effort to stop us, but Allah’s grace was with us, and we are now heading to Lahore.
He said that the IG stopped us for many hours and kept telling us that it was very dangerous outside. But then I told him that I will tell the whole of Pakistan that you have kidnapped me, and after my pressure, we were allowed to leave the court.
