During a press conference in Islamabad, PML-N leader Ata Tarar alleged against the superior judiciary, stating that the higher judiciary is rushing to make decisions on the cases of May 9 without examining the evidence. It is regrettable that you do not consider the evidence, and bail is not granted on the first appearance, resulting in dismissal here.
He said that Pervez Elahi, too, has obtained protection from the higher judiciary. How can Pervez Elahi’s case involving billions in money laundering be dismissed during the first hearing? This cannot happen until the higher judiciary is not managing it. Should it be understood that those who are protecting it are accomplices in the crime? They want to compromise national security by protecting the suspects of May 9, while some judges sitting in the Supreme Court are providing protection to corruption.
