Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has addressed the concerns of the Balochistan Awami Party regarding the budget, leading to the decision of the BAP to participate in the budget session.
A delegation from the Balochistan Awami Party met with the Prime Minister, who assured them of the government’s full support. Shahbaz Sharif stated that the Balochistan Awami Party is an important allied party of the government and has played a significant role in every decision. He emphasized that Pakistan’s progress is linked to the development of Balochistan.
To address the concerns of the Balochistan Awami Party, a committee has been formed. The committee includes Senate Chairman Sadique Sanjrani, Khalid Magsi, Ghafoor Haideri, and Agha Hassan Baloch. In addition, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Mossadiq Malik, Azam Nazir Tarar, and Manzoor Kakar are also members of the committee. The committee will present its recommendations next week.
It is worth noting that Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Qudos Bezanjo had previously announced that the Balochistan Awami Party would not be part of the federal budget session, expressing concerns to the federal government. However, the Prime Minister has now formed a committee to address their concerns.
