Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj ul Haq expressed his concerns about the moderate decrease in petroleum prices, stating it is a mockery with the nation.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, he asserted that Pakistan does not lack resources; rather, it lacks visionary leadership. Siraj ul Haq held the current and former rulers responsible for the deteriorating state of affairs.
He further emphasized that the slight reduction in petroleum prices is nothing but a joke played on the people, as the increase in electricity prices has become unbearable for the poor class. He criticized the government’s performance in the last 15 months, stating that it has been more of a drama with no tangible achievements.
