The Supreme Court rejected PTI chairman’s request to stay the trial of the Tosha Khana case and directed him to approach the Islamabad High Court.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Yahya Afridi, including Justice Musarrat Hilali, heard the appeal of the PTI Chairman.
Justice Yahya Afridi remarked that the court will not interfere in the trial court’s proceedings. Islamabad High Court will hear the connected sub-cases related to Toshakhana.
PTI Chairman’s lawyer requested the court to issue a stay order for one day, to which the court responded that they cannot issue a stay order on the trial court’s actions. Later, the court rejected the request.
