Islamabad High Court has preserved the decision regarding the transfer of the cases of PTI Chairman and his spouse on the request of their counsel. Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, who was hearing Imran Khan’s bail application, has been stopped from making a final decision.
The hearing of the case was conducted by Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Aamer Farooq.
PTI Chairman’s lawyer, Sher Afzal Marwat, appeared before the court, and after listening to the arguments, the court stated that no final decision on bail can be made in the Sessions Court until the High Court decides on the matter.
During this occasion, Sher Afzal Marwat requested security for PTI Chairman.
The Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court remarked that the authority to provide security lies with the Chief Commissioner, and after hearing your request, they can make a decision.
