Severe congestion and heat have broken all records across the country including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and the duration of load shedding has also increased with the increase in heat intensity.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted rains across the country from today and said that the rains will continue from today till August 27.
Clouds will rain intermittently in most parts of Punjab including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan.
Moreover, areas like Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Sawabi, Nowshera, Lucky Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, and Bhakkar are also expected to receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
