Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kaka has expressed that the Election Commission will be provided assistance for the general elections, and no administrative orders will be issued to obstruct any political party from participating in the electoral process.
According to state news agency APP, Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Karkar stated in an interview with a private TV channel that no administrative orders have been issued to obstruct any political party from participating in the electoral process.
The Caretaker Prime Minister said that the Caretaker Government has not taken any step outside the constitution and law, it is facing other challenges including the economy,Caretaker government also has governance issues, day-to-day matters need to be resolved,Not taking timely economic decisions has negative effects on people, that’s why we are trying to make decisions that have far-reaching effects on people.
He mentioned that the previous government legislated on electoral matters and gave the mandate to conduct elections to the Election Commission. The vigilant government is determined to assist the Election Commission in electoral activities.
He said that political parties are participating in electoral activities, nominating their candidates, and it is our job to provide assistance, including funding.
He stated that the President has given recommendations to the Election Commission regarding the elections. Regarding this matter, there is no legal requirement for consultation with the vigilant government.
Anwarul Haq Karka said that during elections, political parties influence voters with their impact. The vigilant government will ensure transparent, impartial, and fair elections. They will not cooperate with any party.
