Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and former leader Fawad Chaudhry are set to face individual criminal proceedings today in the case of contempt of the Election Commission.
The Election Commission will hear the case in Adiala Jail today.
In the last hearing, no charges were filed due to the absence of Imran Khan’s lawyer Shoaib Shaheen.
The Election Commission has twice called Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry to file charges, but PTI’s lawyers did not allow the charges to be filed against Imran Khan.
