The Election Commission has issued a set of guidelines for the candidates intending to file nomination papers for the upcoming general elections.
According to the Election Commission, the fee for obtaining a nomination paper form is Rs 100. Nomination papers can be submitted from December 20 to 22.
A candidate can submit 5 nomination papers with different proposals and endorsers, the candidate has to submit a non-refundable fee of 30 thousand rupees for the National Assembly seat.
For the seat of the provincial assembly, the candidate has to submit a fee of 20 thousand rupees. According to the Election Commission, the nomination papers can be obtained from 8 am to 3 pm.
A certified copy of the ID card of the proposer and endorser must be attached along with the nomination papers, the proposer and endorser must also submit their voter certificate.
Candidates should attach the income tax returns of the last three years along with the nomination, in addition to the complete passport copy of the candidate.
