Islamabad Pakistan has been cleared to receive the second installment of the IMF, according to the announcement, the IMF has approved the reforms related to the loan quota.
The statement said that the IMF has approved reforms related to debt quotas.
Debt quota reforms proposed last month were approved in December.Final approval of the reforms was given by the IMF’s Board of Governors.
Sources of the Ministry of Finance say that Pakistan can also benefit from the increase in the quota, Pakistan can benefit from the increase in the loan quota in the next program.
After the end of the current loan program, there may be scope for quota increase in the next loan program, Pakistan can borrow 6 to 9 billion dollars from the quota increase.
