Pakistan’s national team’s fast bowler Mohammad Amir’s participation in the first match of the series against Ireland has come under suspicion.
According to reports, fast bowler Mohammad Amir, who is returning to the national team after 4 years, has not been issued a visa for Ireland so far, which is why his participation in the Irish series’s first T20 match is in doubt.
The fast bowler is married to a British citizen, and he also toured Ireland in 2018.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in contact with the Irish cricket board regarding the delay in Mohammad Amir’s visa. PCB officials say that issuing visas on time is the responsibility of the hosts.
Pakistan’s 17-member squad has reached the city of Dublin, Ireland, from Dubai, while spinner Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali have also joined the squad.
The national team will have a rest day on Wednesday and will start its first training session on Thursday.
The first T20 match of the series between the two teams is scheduled for Friday, May 10th.
