A case has been registered against the unknown owner of the leopard that trespassed in DHA Phase II. The police also confirmed that a female wildlife officer had been attacked by the leopard .
Yesterday, a leopard had entered Islamabad’s DHA Phase Two, injuring five people, including wildlife officials.
Islamabad police station Sahala has registered a case against an unknown person.
The text of the FIR states that the leopard belonged to the Gildaran species, which is dangerous to humans. This Animals attack humans and take lives. The leopard had injured 5 residents of the housing society including a wildlife volunteer yesterday.
It should be noted that a leopard entered the DHA phase two of Islamabad yesterday. On receiving the information, rescue personnel including Islamabad Wildlife and Punjab Wildlife also arrived. The leopard was controlled after 8 hours of struggle. However, in the meantime, the leopard attacked and seriously injured 5 people, and the residents were in a state of panic.
