Addressing his supporters in Washington D.C., Donald Trump stated that the government’s priorities will shift dramatically on his first day as president, marking the end of four years of decline. All of Biden’s executive orders will be nullified.
Donald Trump delivered his speech at the Capital One Arena, which has a seating capacity of 20,000. The venue was packed with his supporters. He called this moment a “historic milestone” and promised the American people the best first day, week, and first 100 days in presidential history.
Trump declared that all campaign promises would be fulfilled, including imposing strict immigration restrictions on his very first day. He said, “Before the sun sets tomorrow, the infiltration into our country will stop.” Trump added that border security measures would be outlined in his inaugural speech.
The newly elected president also mentioned that TikTok is now restored and expressed his interest in the U.S. owning 50% of TikTok through a joint venture. He highlighted that TikTok’s market capitalization has reached trillions of dollars.
Trump emphasized that after assuming office, he would restore law and order in the country, working with historic speed and strength. He reiterated his commitment to making America greater through executive orders and resolving all crises faced by the nation.
The newly elected president announced plans to order the construction of an Iron Dome missile defense shield for the U.S. military and to eliminate weaknesses within the armed forces. He also pledged to release records and important documents related to the assassinations of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.
It is worth noting that Donald Trump is set to take the oath of office today. The inauguration ceremony will be attended by leaders, foreign ministers, and ambassadors from various countries. Pakistan will be represented by its ambassador to the U.S., Rizwan Saeed Sheikh.
