A local court in Islamabad issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.
District and Sessions Court Judge Zafar Iqbal heard the criminal proceedings case against Imran Khan on behalf of the Election Commission related to the Tosha Khana reference.
The court issued a safe verdict and issued a non-arrest warrant for Imran Khan.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Chairman PTI.
The court adjourned the hearing of the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case till March 7.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal rejected Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance.
Judge Zafar Iqbal remarked that Imran Khan was given several opportunities but he did not appear in the court. Non-bailable arrest warrants are issued for Imran Khan in case of non-appearance.
