Kurram: A jirga is expected to be held in Peshawar today to restore peace and order. According to Jirga member Wali Syed Mian, elders and representatives from both sides will participate in the jirga.
A Jirga member stated that significant progress was made during the recent meeting held in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, a convoy of vehicles traveling from Thall to Parachinar is also expected to depart.
According to trader leader Haji Raouf, more than 100 small and large vehicles are currently in Hangu and will join the convoy.
The district administration reported that, as per the agreement, the demolition of bunkers is ongoing. So far, 24 bunkers have been demolished in Kharkali and Balshkhel.
District officials stated that the demolition of bunkers will continue today.
