The second match of the ICC Champions Trophy is being played in Dubai, where Bangladesh has won the toss and decided to bat first against India.
After the toss, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma said, “Every team tries to win the tournament, and we want the same.”
On the other hand, Bangladesh team captain Najmul Hossain Shanto stated, “I am happy with the team’s preparation. We have included two spinners and three fast bowlers in the team.”
During the press conference before the match against Bangladesh in Dubai, the Indian captain mentioned that the Champions Trophy format is such that one loss can knock a team out of the tournament, but we shouldn’t overthink it and go crazy about it.
It is worth noting that the second match of the Champions Trophy is being played today, while the first match was played yesterday between Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Stadium Karachi.
The Pakistan team faced a 60-run defeat against New Zealand in that match.
