The Meteorological Department has announced that the first total lunar eclipse of the year will take place tomorrow. It will begin at 8:57 AM Pakistan time, with the total eclipse occurring at 11:58 AM and concluding at 3:00 PM.
According to the department’s report, the lunar eclipse will cast a reddish glow across the sky. This will be the first total lunar eclipse in nearly three years, with the last one occurring in 2022.
Experts have stated that due to its occurrence during daylight hours, the eclipse will not be visible in Pakistan. However, it will be observable in North and South America.
Meanwhile, the first solar eclipse of the year is set to occur on March 29, but it will also not be visible in Pakistan.
