A case has been registered by police following the purse snatching incident involving the mother of national cricketer Hasan Ali.
According to police, during the robbery, the suspect snatched Rs. 230,000 in cash and a gold bracelet weighing 5 tolas.
The FIR has been filed based on the complaint of Hasan Ali’s brother, Khurram Shehzad. Rawalpindi CPO Muhammad Ayyaz Saleem took immediate notice of the incident and has requested a detailed report from SP City.
The CPO stated that police teams have been formed to arrest the unidentified suspect, and all available resources are being utilized. He assured that the culprit would be arrested soon and brought to justice.
Police have launched an investigation and are collecting CCTV footage from nearby areas to help identify and apprehend the person involved in the robbery.
