Karachi: During last night’s escape incident at Malir District Jail, an extraordinary and emotional development surfaced when the mother of one of the escaped prisoners personally brought her son back to jail and handed him over to the authorities.
According to reports, when the escaped inmate reached home, his mother not only convinced him but also showed a sense of responsibility by immediately returning him to the prison under police supervision.
Outside the jail, the mother handed her son over to the police and kept pleading for forgiveness on his behalf. She joined her hands in front of the officers, saying her son had made a mistake and that she had brought him back herself, requesting them not to harm him.
Following the incident, the mother’s act has been widely appreciated on social media. Citizens praised her in comments, calling such mothers the pride of society and a shining example of honesty and moral upbringing.
