Pakistan’s seasoned fast bowler Mohammad Amir has achieved a remarkable feat by crossing the 400-wicket milestone in T20 cricket. The 33-year-old pacer reached the landmark during the Caribbean Premier League 2025 when he dismissed Fabian Allen, further cementing his place among the top bowlers in the shortest format of the game.
Amir has so far played 343 matches in T20 cricket, maintaining a bowling average of 22.54 and an economy rate of 7.33. These statistics highlight his consistency and ability to perform under pressure, making him one of the most reliable bowlers in T20 competitions.
It is worth mentioning that Amir announced his retirement from Pakistan cricket once again after the T20 World Cup 2024, although he continues to display impressive performances in various leagues around the world.
Before Amir, fellow Pakistani pacer Wahab Riaz had already crossed the 400-wicket mark in T20 cricket, making Amir the second bowler from Pakistan to achieve this milestone.
