Mastung, Balochistan: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Mastung, killing four terrorists linked to an India-backed proxy network and seizing weapons and explosives.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched on September 12 following credible intelligence reports that members of the group “Fitna al-Hindustan,” operating under Indian sponsorship, were present in the area.
ISPR stated that the terrorists’ hideout was effectively targeted, leading to an intense exchange of fire in which four India-backed militants were neutralized.
A cache of arms, ammunition, and explosive materials was also recovered from their possession. The statement confirmed that the terrorists had been involved in multiple subversive activities in the region.
Following the engagement, a search and sanitization operation is underway to clear the area. ISPR reiterated that terrorism fueled by Indian support will be eradicated from the country and that all such elements will be brought to justice.
