Khuzdar: In Balochistan’s Khuzdar district, security forces carried out a major intelligence-based operation against an India-backed terrorist group, eliminating four militants after a fierce exchange of fire. The successful action dealt a significant blow to the terrorist network operating in the region.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on September 17 following credible intelligence reports regarding the presence of members of the terrorist outfit “Fitna al-Hindustan.” Security forces swiftly moved in and effectively targeted the militants’ hideout.
During the intense exchange of fire, four India-sponsored terrorists were killed. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from their possession, which authorities believe was intended for future attacks.
It is noteworthy that in recent years, repeated evidence has surfaced linking India’s covert involvement to numerous terrorist incidents in Balochistan. Pakistan has consistently maintained that Indian intelligence agencies, particularly RAW, have been providing financial and military support to separatist and militant groups to destabilize the province.
Within this context, the group “Fitna al-Hindustan” is also known to be operating under Indian patronage, with a focus on targeting security forces, strategic installations, and even innocent civilians in Balochistan.
Previously, security forces have successfully dismantled several Indian-backed terrorist networks in different operations, foiling their nefarious plots and achieving notable progress in restoring peace and stability across the province.
