The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has issued arrest warrants for Khadija Shah, daughter of a former finance minister, along with several other accused in two major cases related to the May 9 incidents. The decision came after the accused repeatedly failed to appear for trial proceedings.
According to the court order, arrest warrants were issued for Khadija Shah in connection with the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attack cases. The court noted that despite being given multiple opportunities, she did not appear, leaving no option but to issue the warrants.
The court also issued arrest warrants for eight other accused, including Imran, Faiza Azmat, Usman, Ahmed Mursaleen, Hamza Sohail, and Muhammad Khalid. These individuals were also absent during the hearings.
Additionally, the ATC ordered the initiation of proceedings to declare Abdul Razaq and Safdar as absconders. Both are nominated in the Jinnah House attack case and failed to appear even after warrants had been issued against them.
