A human rights organization, Rawadari, has released a new report on Afghanistan, highlighting a rise in abuses against women and minorities and serious violations of human rights.
According to the report, Taliban policies have pushed the country into a deep crisis, severely affecting civil liberties and basic rights, leaving citizens increasingly vulnerable.
The report states that incidents of targeted killings, extrajudicial killings, and enforced disappearances have increased by 40.4 percent, affecting 611 individuals.
It further noted that during 2025, strict laws were used to limit women’s fundamental rights, while Taliban courts imposed physical and degrading punishments.
The report also highlighted that ethnic and religious minorities are being denied access to jobs and basic services, while the absence of independent institutions and the judiciary has worsened the human rights situation.
