The United Kingdom has announced an increase in the minimum wage, with expectations that millions of workers will see an improvement in their income.
According to media reports, the minimum wage for employees aged 21 and above has been raised to £12.71 per hour, benefiting a large number of workers.
Similarly, wages for apprentices and younger employees have also been increased, with the new minimum rate set at £8 per hour, providing relief to younger workers.
Experts say the move aims to ease the pressure of rising inflation and improve the financial conditions of low-income earners, contributing to overall economic stability.
