The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a sharp decline after U.S. President Donald Trump announced an escalation in attacks on Iran, putting the market under pressure.
From the start of trading on Thursday, the KSE-100 index recorded a significant drop, falling by 3,763 points to 151,748 in early hours.
During the session, the negative trend intensified further, with the index declining by 4,088 points to reach 151,423, reflecting a notable market downturn.
According to data, the KSE-100 index fell by 2.63 percent overall, indicating cautious sentiment among investors.
It is worth noting that the market had surged a day earlier after Trump signaled a possible exit from the Iran conflict, but the latest announcement reversed the trend.
