According to a leading British publication, Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East are being viewed as a major setback for India.
The report, citing an article by Indian defense analyst Sushant Singh, states that during the recent conflict, Pakistan emerged as a key mediator between the United States and Iran, while India remained excluded from Middle East negotiations and appeared to be losing influence in Washington.
The article further noted that a regional bloc comprising Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia signals a shift in regional power dynamics, compelling India to reconsider its foreign policy approach.
The analyst also highlighted that Pakistan has maintained strong ties with China, while the U.S. President is said to prefer Pakistan’s Field Marshal for mediation, in contrast to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is reportedly facing diplomatic challenges.
