Iranian media, citing key sources, has claimed that Iran may withdraw from the interim ceasefire agreement if Israel continues to violate its terms, raising concerns of renewed escalation.
An Iranian official stated that if the United States fails to restrain Israel, Iran may respond with direct involvement and use of force in reaction to what it described as extraordinary support.
The official further said that targets have already been identified in response to the aggression that took place on Wednesday, indicating the possibility of a strong retaliatory move.
Earlier, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that three key points of the 10-point proposals had already been violated even before negotiations could proceed.
He alleged that Iran’s airspace was breached by drone incursions, its right to uranium enrichment was denied, and ceasefire violations also occurred in Lebanon.
