US President Donald Trump stated that the meeting between Iran and the United States was largely positive, with agreement reached on several key points, although the core issue regarding Iran’s nuclear program remains unresolved.
In a statement shared on social media, Donald Trump said that the discussions between the two countries were constructive and progress was made on multiple matters, but the most complex issue concerning a nuclear Iran has not yet been agreed upon.
Meanwhile, following the conclusion of the Iran-related negotiations, no member of the US delegation remained in Pakistan, and the delegation departed after the talks.
The US president further stated that Iran is seeking financial resources and, most importantly, aims to acquire nuclear weapons. He added that the United States is fully prepared and armed, and at an appropriate time, the US military could eliminate what remains of Iran’s capabilities.
