British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has clearly stated that the United Kingdom will not support a potential US naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, signaling a cautious and differing stance on the issue, which reflects emerging divisions among allied nations.
Following this decision, several key US allies have also expressed concerns, with France, Spain, and Türkiye criticizing the American move and warning that such actions could escalate tensions in the region and further complicate the situation.
Meanwhile, China has also condemned the plan, stating that any blockade in the Strait of Hormuz could severely impact global trade and energy supply routes, raising concerns about potential consequences for the global economy.
