In Rajasthan, an Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-21 fighter jet crashed and was destroyed, while the pilot survived. According to Indian media reports, the aircraft crashed in the Hanumangarh area of Rajasthan, killing three civilians.
The media reports claim that the pilot had informed of a technical fault immediately after takeoff. However, the Indian Air Force said that the aircraft crashed during a routine flight.
The Indian fighter jet, which became the victim of the accident, was on a sortie from Suratgarh. An inquiry has been initiated to determine the cause of the crash.
